QuadWinkowski’s sheet-fed printing plant in Piła has been awarded a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points System (HACCP) certificate, confirming that the plant is compliant with international food safety standards.
“The scope of the certificate covers packaging production for the food industry,” explains Andrzej Płatek, QuadWinkowski’s Vice President of Administration, who is responsible for implementation of the HACCP system. “Efficient validation of the certification process enables QuadWinkowski to enter this new market. Thanks to our operational efficiency and commitment to quality, I’m convinced we will win new contracts and gain the trust of new clients.”
QuadWinkowski’s Board of Directors made the decision to implement the HACCP system in November 2010. In just seven months, the Piła plant successfully implemented all applicable standards and requirements. Dekra, an international certification company, conducted a verification audit and awarded the HACCP Certificate on June 15.
