Working at Quad/Graphics
Quad/Graphics is a global provider of print and related multichannel solutions for consumer magazines, special interest publications, catalogs, retail inserts/circulars, direct mail, books, directories, and commercial and specialty products. Headquartered in Sussex, Wis., the Company has approximately 24,000 employees working from more than 60 print-production facilities as well as other support locations throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America and Europe. For more information on Quad/Graphics, click here.
The main purpose of the in-plant training is to provide an opportunity to have real-world experiences at Quad/Graphics' state-of-the-art facilities, located in the state of Wisconsin (Hartford, Sussex, Lomira, West Allis, Pewaukee).
The first half of each trainee's in-plant training program will be spent building a technical foundation in core print production areas, including prepress, pressroom and post-press departments. Ttrainees are given opportunities for “hands-on” participation in each production area under the guidance and instruction of a Corporate Training Program Manager. Once the trainees complete their production rotations, we will work with them to structure an administrative experience that matches their interests. Administrative rotations can include but are not limited to Scheduling, Estimating, Customer Service and Sales.
