QuadWinkowski has PEFC and FSC certifications. The essence of both certifications is the confirmation that the source of origin of the wood and wood products is known and the wood is obtained as a result of appropriate and responsible forest management. QuadWinkowski obtained COC type (Chain-of-Custody) certificates which are designed for the timber industry companies. COC certification obliges companies to adhere to strict recommendations as to the separation of certified raw materials (from non-certified ones) in the course of manufacturing processes to assure that the end product is marked with a proper logo.
Those certificates represent another proof, apart from ISO 14001:2004, of the company’s consistent activities in the area of environmental protection. Those activities have represented an important part of the company’s operation since its inception and together with the establishment of the corporate Environmental Policy those gained a systemic and top-priority nature.
